His "ring dinger" adjustment is the best thing I've ever experienced and makes you feel immediately better and totally relaxed. At my first appointment, the first thing Dr. Alex did was have X-rays taken, which no other chiropractors had done in at least 15 years. He was able to pinpoint the issues in my shoulder that have been plaguing me fir YEARS and discuss a plan to fix it. I was not fond of the idea of my neck being cracked either, but I was told that I should try it by a friend. I workout often, work full-time and go to school full-time; this adds a lot of stress and strain on my body, specifically my neck and shoulders. As a result, not only did I try but continue to go to Dr. Alex Vanderschelden. I can say that he truly is a great chiropractor, he is gentle but strong . I couldn't sleep at night and could barely move my head. However, after seeing Dr. Alex, one time, I actually got sleep and was more relaxed overall. It is not a one stop fix, and I still have a long way to go, but the fact that I was able to sleep and actually feel relaxed and turn my head without excruciating pain was such an amazing feeling. He is extremely thorough and really explains and shows what is going on with your spine. For me, that was probably the most important part because I was able to see what was going on and knew that he would be able to treat me properly based on that. Dr. Alex is also very kind and caring and really looks out for his patients and their best interests. I highly recommend seeing him for whatever your needs may be (I.e., pain, alignment, wellness, etc.) and will definitely refer him to those I know! I was diagnosed with Menieres Disease(causes extreme vertigo, hearing loss, and can be connected to migraines) in 2015 and have experienced ALL of those symptoms severely and since was put on medication for treatment(which did not fully relieve my symptoms).
